Re: Any I am playing "My Way"
Quote:
Your guitar song alwasy give me pleasure. I had worked for 5 years in Navy of korea. My commander likes this music, "My Way". Somtimes he sings that song and he says to us. " Our mother country has to become strong than Japan." " Otherwise, we will be under the control of Japan again like the past." I remember my commander during hear your song. Thanks a lot. Have a good time. My Way - Frank Sinatra And now, the end is near. And so I face the final curtain. My friend, I'll say it clear. I'll state my case of which I'm certain. I've lived a life that's full. I've traveled each and every highway, And more, much more than this, I did it my way Regrets, I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course. Each careful step along the byway, And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew. But through it all, when there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all and I stood tall And did it my way! I've loved, I've laughed and cried. I've had my fill my share of losing. And now, as tears subside, I ! find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way, "No, oh no, not me, I did it my way" For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows, And did it my way! Yes, it was my way... Re: Any I am playing "My Way"
My way is one of my favorite Karaoke songs. But I also love to listen to the Simon and Garfunkel song "Patterns" off the Parsley, Sage, Rosmary & Thyme" Album here are the words:
The night sets softly With the hush of falling leaves, Casting shivering shadows On the houses through the trees, And the light from a street lamp Paints a pattern on my wall, Like the pieces of a puzzle Or a childs uneven scrawl. Up a narrow flight of stairs In a narrow little room, As I lie upon my bed In the early evening gloom. Impaled on my wall My eyes can dimly see The pattern of my life And the puzzle that is me. From the moment of my birth To the instant of my death, There are patterns I must follow Just as I must breathe each breath. Like a rat in a maze The path before me lies, And the pattern never alters Until the rat dies. And the pattern still remains On the wall where darkness fell, And its fitting that it should, For in darkness I must dwell. Like the color of my skin, Or the day that I grow old, My life is made of patterns That can scarcely be controlled.
