Main street near Camp Humphreys
![]() Main street near Camp Humphreys in Anjungri. I look like the main street is very quiet during the day. occasionally, I could see there some american soldiers who have Korean car such as SONATA, AVANTE XD. Do you like Korean car ? Last edited by shsong21 : 06-09-2007 at 07:13 PM. |

Re: Main street near Camp Humphreys
I think most older Korean cars are complete JUNK! The newer (less than 3 years old) Hyundai and Kia models are pretty good, but anything older than that is terrible! I drive German cars, so perhaps I am a bit spoiled by good handling, but Korean cars have no soul, no character, no charm at all they are just tools to get you from one place to another and nothing more. Several US cars are the same way, so don't feel bad.

Come on, SS you drive a bicycle and ride the subway! Never mind the car club and your collection back in CO!
The Americans drive old Korean used cars because you can get them free or for $200 when someone is leaving soon. They call them Hoopties, and they are often pre-dented, so that if a taxi hits you it won't hurt so much. Parts are easy to get, and they are not costly to insure. |

Shsong, you were very close to our apartment when you took the picture. We are just down the road that is beside the Family Mart. When did you take the picture?

I know that Korean cars are just tools for transport in America. So, what brand do u like ? Is that BMW ? or ? Yes, I also like German cars such as BMW, Benz than GM. ![]() Last edited by shsong21 : 06-10-2007 at 12:29 AM. |

I'll try to connect to you but I don't know your cell phone number. Anyway, I think that is pretty good to live as my hometown. Have a good weekend. |

I've walked by it many times but I have never eaten there. I should try it sometime.
