There is a lot of really talented people around who will volunteer and fill that job. I have enjoyed Rosie in the past, but she has fallen from Grace, as surely as Mr. Nyfong, the newly disbarred lawyer from North Carolina, who Knew the DNA didn't match, yet knowingly and foolishly went on to embarrass the entire University of NC! I hope the Team sues him for all his illgotten money.
The Network (CBS?) will not take Rosie back & make the same mistake again.

Does Rosie O'Donnell have the capacity to exuce the charm and friendliness required to be a game show host?

Possibly-if you remember, the early days of her TV show were actually very highly heralded by critics and fans alike and at that time she was one of the most popular hosts on tv.

-However-

I think that Rosie's lack of discretion and wisdom about when, where, and -how- she should express her personal point of view would totally take away not only from her persona as host, but from a show that's been around so long as "The Price is Right"... it's practically an American institution at this point of the game.

If I were the network guys, or even the producers, I would be highly skeptical of bringing her aboard on any show, given the debacle that happened on "The View", and her reputation for controversy.. and for a show as popular as TPIR..yeah, I'd be making sure there'd be some rules in writing before I 'd even look at her.

Then again.. her controversy does, unfortunately, draw ratings.

Soooo..anything's possible, I guess :)
