Economy or the Dollar
From everything my little brain has read, studied and listened to it seems the U.S. financial system and economy are getting extremely close to the fork in the road. The fed will have two choices to make, either keep the economy afloat by sacrificing the dollar or sacrifice the dollar and buoy the economy. I have been a precious metals bug for the past five years and I remain one as i see the ownership of precious metals as the only certain way to retain value. here is a link to a new article at financial sense concerning one guys outlook for the immediate future of gold and what to watch for: http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/ed...2007/0730.html
Any other gold bugs out here?

Re: Economy or the Dollar
Must've been tired when I posted last night, meant to say sacrifice the dollar and buoy the economy or sacrifice the economy and buoy the dollar. Of course, the safest thing for the fed to do is nothing and let the chips fall where ever they may. I own silver also, though i don't keep it under my matress anymore, lol. Bought a safe a while back, safety deposit boxes are good too, I guess. I ordered a 100 ounce bar from northwest mint over a month and a half ago and they are just getting it shipped this week. They haven't been able to keep up with demand. Hmmm, maybe Ted Butler is right about the silver users manipulating the price down by shorting the comex. Some day, silver will soar again only this time, it won't free fall back down like it did during the Hunt Brothers debacle.
