Hitler is don't die !

I have saw some Documantary realation to Hitler on National Geographic CH last night. It was very interseting documantary.
It was the story about Hitler's mystery. The Docu. said, "Hitler is don't die when WW II." " Russia troops attacked Hitler's bunker but, they didn't find his dead body". "So, Hitler may be live yet in the sea bottom with his U-boat!".
Haha it's very interesting story ! Isn't it ?
How about do u think ?

Hitler is don't die !

You seem way too happy with this possibility. Frankly, your interest in Hitler is offensive and uncalled for. You keep poking the bear, you will get mauled.

Re: Hitler is don't die !

Ginger,

I have to disagree with you a little on this one, on one minor point.

While I'm certainly no fan of Hitler or his philosophies for that matter, I can't say that I necessarily would categorize a mere 'interest' in the man as "offensive or uncalled for"... we as a society often tend to focus attention on the villains that emerge in our ranks, to "breed" if you will, interest in the evil doers of the world. Maybe it's just the nature of humanity to be intrigued with the darkness of the world, but, unfortunately, a serial killer is far more likely to get more attention from the media and the press than a great philanthropist, and so, often folks like Hitler, Charles Manson and their ilk are often made into the stereotypical 'anti-hero' and stay in the center of attention and in the center of interest long after their demise. If there weren't some level of widespread and marketable 'interest' among society about miscreants as a whole..movies like "Helter Skelter", "The Ted Bundy Story",and the movies about John Wayne Gacy would never have enjoyed the popularity we did, nor would there be filmmakers making documentaries that get picked up by networks.

Many psychologists actually still are quite fascinated by the life of Hitler... to watch a man such as he,an unremarkable, and frankly unnotable man in his youth, rise to the level of power that he did, and his charismatic ability to woo people to the philosophies that were so obviously wrong, and to such a level as he did , to blind them to basic humanity and conscience, is quite an interesting study. In looking at, studying, and understanding *how* Hitler did what he did, perhaps we can at least arm ourselves with information as to how to prevent someone from ever doing it again. Just as the study of history can save us from making the same mistakes, so can an interest and study of an infamous mental case.

There is , however, a difference in the academic study of Hitler in a psychological sense, and "Hero-worship". It's when folks start calling Hitler their hero that I start throwing the "offensive" flag. While I don't think interest is offensive, I would *seriously* be concerned about the mental state of anyone who -seriously- considered themselves a "Hitler groupie", and would find anything that they spouted off in those terms offensive.

I guess my point here is that .. it's not the interest or curiousity about the life of a historical figure, even one so evil as der Fuhrer that I would find offensive so much as someone's support for his manifest of ideals.

That being said, again, let me state clearly.. I'm not a Hitler fan girl by any means, nor do I espouse or find anything good in his philosophies.

And while I applaud NGC for showing a wide range of thought provoking programs, and shows that do sometimes present a "What If?" sort of scenario, as they often do with their "A Haunting" series (one of my favorites, actually), and in their "History's Mysteries" series (which I think this "documentary" is a part of), I think a wise man would take great care in scrutinizing those theories and not just accept them without documentation, looking at who *made* the documentary, what their source materials were, etc.

I personally don't believe Hitler could have survived, and think the theories presented have more holes in them than swiss cheese...

Dee :)

Ginger,

You are absolutely right, I haven't kept up with those posts, and I very well may have missed one along the way..! :) I think I'm glad I did, it sounds like it must have been a doozy! LOL :)

Anyway, I'm sorry if my post came across as sounding like I was trying to defend shshong, that certainly wasn't the case at all, my thoughts were very general, as they often tend to be, and intended to be more about the philosophy of "interests". *G* Principle instead of person, if that makes sense! :)

Again, my apologies for coming across wrongly! :)

Dee :)

I still believe that Germany is great than America.

Hitler was an intraveinous speed freak, his thoughts led to many things, along with other evil men, like the systematic genocide of jewish people. He is not a part of history to be admired but, studied and feared so we will not allow a repeat of history.
