Well some of your comments are true, others are not.

Yes the US and Russia both took technology from Germany after the war such as Missle technoligy and tank tech (the M1 was designed totally by germans as US sucked at tank design)

How ever the nuke was given to the United states BECAUSE of the Nazis, who drove the sicentist away from there country into that of the United states who where more then happy to take the tech they brought.

HOWEVER, your comments are insulting to every person who fought and died against the Nazis as well anyone who suffered under there rule.

I'll tell you a short story that my grandmother told me, she lived in The Netherlands durning WWII, the first time her Brother (my great Uncle) tasted milk he got sick because at the age of 4 he had never tasted it, Germans took the milk so that he was never able to take it till the Allies drove the nazis out of the Netherlands.

So do I. But I'd like to say this, America has utilized Nazi's advanced technologies since WW II. It is true !
American scientists have researched Germans fighter aircraft, submarine, Roket, etc..... However, America is still deny about them. Also, American Govt. has utilized them commercially.

In case -you- didn't know, Hitler's ideal goal was to develop a perfect race, an Aryan nation..a nation of *blonde haired* *blue eyed* peoples, who would , according to his plan, rise up and crush not only the Jewish people that he targeted in the WWII campaign, but any race or society that didn't meet his perfect image. Unfortunately, the last time I looked...there aren't many blonde, blue eyed Koreans running around, so you, your homeland, and your people..would be among those forced to die.

As for the U.S. not having a right to "criticize" Hitler and the Nazis.. on that point, Sir, we have a *MAJOR* bone of contention. I beg to differ wholeheartedly.

While some of your facts are indeed correct, some of the technology that led to the development of our US *TECHNOLOGY* was indeed, brought over from *GERMANY*, however, the *GERMANS* that invented that technology were not a part of Hitler's regime,nor were they part of the Nazi's party. In fact, as a previous poster has already pointed out...it was brought -to- the U.S. by those who created it, because they *didn't* want the Nazi's to have it, because they saw the horror it could be in Hitler's hands. Check your history,the very man who invented much of that nuclear technology was the one who got Einstein to write his letter to the President of the U.S. asking the U.S. to work on getting that information out of Nazi hands. Werner von Braun brought his work *with* him to the United States, when he *came* here to escape the tyranny of Hitler's regime.

But beyond that, beyond technology of any sort, regardless of who invented what..... Why do we , as a government, as a nation, have a right to criticize the Nazi's?

The answer, good Sir, lies not in the heart of technology...but in the *heart* of America, *PERIOD*. We, as a nation, espouse core values that embrace life.. we hold freedom dear, and we, though we are often imperfect in doing so, strive to make equality for all. Hitler, and the Nazis, on the other hand.. promoted a systematic genocide of a people for nothing more than a simple difference in a way of life.

It is not only our *right* as Americans to condemn and judge that sort of behavior, it is our *responsibility* to do so.. so that such a horrible, disgusting loss of life is never endured again. Beyond that, it is our *right* and *responsibility* as a *HUMAN BEING* to stand against such abhorrent activity.

As I said in a previous post, I see nothing wrong with an interest in Hitler or the Nazi's, but find anyone who would proclaim a tyrannical dictator such as that as a hero more than slightly offensive, not as an American..but as a human being.

Adolf Hitler was born in Austria, and was NOT a German.
He was a high school dropout.
He was a racist who was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews.
He would have cooked all Oriental People in ovens, just as her did the Jews!

You hitting the soju while writing? The fact of science and technology is that many people around the world in many different countries have made great discoveries. If you ever educate yourself by actually going to school you will find that their is an old saying that "we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us", when it comes to discovery and innovation. How much technology does Korea claim to be it's very own when your modern Korea would not be possible if it weren't for technologies GIVEN to it by the USA and others to jump start your country in the post war era.
