Re: Rambo is back !
Youngbuck- I think you may have misunderstood me here. My commentary about your "language" has nothing to do my "liking you or not". I don't even know you. I -do- believe, however, that everyone has a voice, that everyone has something to contribute, and your voice deserves to be heard. I believe you have the potential capability to add to conversations, and to bring a new and interesting , fresh look at things.
Unfortunately, when you resort to "street speak", not only does it make your opinion hard for those who don't "hang with the homies in the hood" to understand, it really undermines your own intelligence, and makes it less likely that anything you'd say will be taken seriously. And the extraneous, unnecessary profanity? It definitely doesn't add any credibility to your thoughts. Just remember that the word "thug" in most areas of society.. doesn't have a really positive connotation. I personally think you deserve better than that, unless you don't want to better yourself. "I am unable to communicate in proper English so I must resort to gibberish that sounds cool. Please don't force me to conform. Nobody likes me and I don't understand. But it is okay because I am not amiable towards the rest of the board members anyway. I joined this board because I am ignorant and now I am despondent and see no hope. I am akin to the homeless who live on the street. The economy drives prices up. It is sad. I am weak, with no muscles. Nobody gave me a blue ribbon. Yet I am eating nutritious foods and exercising. Please love me, I will stay on this board until you do. People look at me and do not understand, they only question my existence. I remain at McDonald's because Buger King ripped me off once. Although I am quite handy with menial labor, I have a tendency for premature ejaculation. People who don't like me can't hurt me because I have belts in my pockets, so I can walk. I have belts in my closet even when I am prematurely ejaculating. This is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." Although I admit I am baffled as to the super powers of belts; I thought all they did was hold up pants. ![]() |

Re: Rambo is back !
I'm apolozizing behalf of myself including my record lable youngbuck inc, to other board memebrs for using harsh languages. It is the point where I will be considering something innovative thoughts to contribute positive info's on the board such as providing korean language sections near future. It is so shame that me and my Young buck crew members particpated in such wild actions in the past.

However, It seems others feel irritated in my language, so I will do my best to minimize unwanted misunderstandings to soften my expressions. I'm not sure It can be done. I will.

Re: Rambo is back !
Youngbuck, you call yourself a gangster. Do you even know what this means? Do you even know what half of what you are saying means? I don't think you do. You say you have completed your post-graduate studies which implies you have a doctorate? Is this true? Do you really have a PhD? I doubt it. You may think that you are speaking some kind of urban street dialect, but you are just really just ostracizing yourself from the general audience on this forum. You seem somewhat educated, act like it.

Re: Rambo is back !
Young, not to pick on you (honest) but the more you post about your level of education and business sense, the less literate you become. Your spelling and grammar are atrocious - what is your degree field?
Instead of acting "gangster" (do you really mean to use that word? see definitions below) or acting like you are accustomed to big words - Just be YOURSELF. No reason to be a poser or a player, KWIM? Frankly, for someone who wants to be (or claims to be) a successful international business man, referring to yourself as "gangster" is detrimental. GANGSTER: 1: A wannabe thug, often illiterate and an inhabitant of a downtrodden ghetto that hangs around in “gangs”; largely associated with the African-American subculture. These try-hard wanna be “gangstas” attempt to make themselves appear like real criminals by graffiti-ing buildings, smoking/selling drugs and trying to look all “bad-as and macho an'-_hit, yo”. An utter degradation of what true gangsters represent (see below), and street wannabe “gangsta”-types don't hold a candle to what real gangsters are. 2: The *real* gangsters are those behind organized crime; most notably the Mafia. Responsible for black market trade, espionage, organized beatings / assassinations, etc. “The Godfather” portrays the archetype of true gangsters, showing the brutality of mob beatings, shootings, running rackets and abusing women, alcohol and everything in between. The real gangsters are NOT to be confused with the aforementioned definition, commonly used as it might be. |

Re: Rambo is back !
Young- and please understand that while I may be singling you out in speaking to you, it isn't out of a sense of anger, or trying to be overly critical, merely from the perspective of trying to help you as a newer member of the board, to adjust and be more "at home " as well as productive in your communications. Again, I think most of us actually do think you have a great deal to contribute to this board, and actually want you to have constructive input and a good experience here. Quite frankly, if we didn't, I'd suspect you'd have been either kicked off, ignored, or considered a bit of a laughing stock by now.
Firstly, thank you for your apology about the foul language, and your restraint in not using it in your more recent posts. It is much appreciated! Secondly, You mentioned in a recent post that when you're interacting with someone in a business type of environment, you don't "street speak", so obviously, you have some level of awareness of how that sort of thing may be inappropriate in different arenas of life. While this board offers a very friendly atmosphere, and I think most of us who are regulars (even those of us who disagree on political issues , Rouse *G*) do hold a great deal of respect for each other, and overall enjoy each other's company, the forum here is still an extension of a public place, and as such, we should conduct ourselves as we would in that sort of business environment. To put it bluntly, whatever you choose to do in your private life is your choice.Your standards of speech and behavior while you are in the company of your friends are none of our business, and are between you, and you alone. If you feel the need to "relate" and "portray" yourself in that sort of image when you're in that company, then that is certainly your choice, and no matter how much I agree with others that you're associating yourself with a personality "label" that may end up harming you in the long run, that's your concern. As others have said, you seem like a fairly intelligent young man, I find it sad that you would willingly place yourself in a role that has such negative connotations as a whole, and will no doubt, eventually cause you a bit of grief in the business world, but if you feel it's proper for you, then I'm in no position to judge. However, there are times in life, when you have to yield to the proper standards of the society you're interacting in, out of respect to those you are with.. and just as that's so in your business interaction, it should be so here in the forums. This isn't a "hood hangout" , it's a forum to share information and discuss thoughts and opinions- we've just all been very blessed to have made some connections that have gone beyond the board.
