Peace activists captured in Iraq

I think it is ironic that some peace activists went to Iraq to protest the American occupation of Iraq and then get captured by the insurgents. The insurgents claim they are spies. The group that sponsored the activists still doesn’t get it!

Quote:
In a statement, Christian Peacemaker Teams said it strongly opposed the U.S. invasion of Iraq and blamed the kidnapping on coalition forces.

"We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and U.K. government due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people," the group said.

"We are very strict about this: We do not do any evangelism, we are not missionaries," Jessica Phillips told The Associated Press in Chicago. "Our interest is to bring an end to the violence and destruction of civilian life in Iraq."
This is typical of anti-war activists. I think they may have a mental disorder. Even when these terrorists kidnap their folks, they blame the U.S. and British governments! This is like getting carjacked and blaming the mayor for the crime, but placing no blame on the actual criminal. There is a point when blind hatred for a government clouds your judgment. I have just two words to say: baby seals.
