I aded the snow to give the site a Christmas feel. I added the drop in box because many people don't know to refresh their browsers and that will give a single reminder.

I have a feeling the site is slow because of the flash banner, not my server. The server is in California.

This was my first visit--great website by the way--the snow appeared about 5-10 seconds after the page appeared. The popup appeared too. How did you get the snow?

The snow is a simple JavaScript. I can make it rain Kim Jong-ils if I want! Are you familiar with Java Scripts? I am reading a good book and experimenting with Javascript at the momment. There are simple existing codes that you can paste into HTML docs. The pop-up is a script and the snow is another. The only problem you may encounter using Javascript is people with old browsers will not see them.
