Canuck Cop-out

I noticed this article on CNN today.

It's too bad to see that a "Blame the US" mentality is alive and well in Canada, not just Europe. Unfortunately, that's not going to help Canada deal with their own issues.

This is how Schroeder won 4 years earlier in Germany. This is typical Canadian politics; bad mouth the U.S. in the liberal provinces and you gain points in the polls.

The only problem is that Canada relies on the U.S. both economically and in the military. The truth is a few Viking ships could take over Canada if the U.S. military wasn't around. How much money does Canada save NOT spending money on the military?

As far as I am concerned, Europe and Canada is simply jealous that Socialism is a failure and capitalism works. Take a look at any Socialist country and low economic growth and high unemployment will almost always be found. Also, high immigration that milks their socialistic ideals is the norm.
