I'm glad you view my McCarthy comment as humor. Where or not you get upset over someone else claims that the US is less patriotic isn't the issue. That's your beliefs and viewpoint.

Cheap shot noted. If I use your way of thinking here I'd asked the folowing: Do you think you're the only one that's lived in Korea? Do you think that your the only American in this forum. Do you believe that you are the only one who plays attention to Veterans Gatherings. And you asked if I was trying to start something. Part of this ralley was on C-SPAN, no mention of the 600k and the part that was shown wasn't to Bush favorable. It nice that veterans get together in support for ohter veterans, but you're still avoiding answering my question of where I posted that response.

Have you attended any? No you're in the ROK aren't you? When have you attended any of these rallies? Let me know when you plan to attend next years instead trying to cover up not reading any of my post correctly avoiding answering my question of when did I post that American aren't patriotic. You have to look at the criteria the study used. The study isn't about who can gather the biggest rally and sing the national anthem. The study polled the attitudes of people within the country about who has the top science achievements, sporting achievements, political power, military, etc. The vast majority of these categories of course US citizens feel they are the best.

That is why I made the statement in my original posting that Koreans are often loud in their nationalism but according to this study if you dig deeper you can see the nationalism has little substance because many Korean citizens don't feel pride in many aspects of the country.
