Why? I cannot explain well in Korean.
One reason is "ambiguity" ( 두 가 지 뜻 , 여 러 가 지뜼 ,모 호 하 지, 모 호 한 ,
표 현 ) which is reduced by using many different words.
Korean, unlike Chinese or English, cannot express things in a great variety of ways. So it is a great, simple language, and after studying for the same length of time, it is not so difficult to write.

As Chinese has thousands of individual characters, so English has thousands of words to express more exact meanings.

Do not expect to learn every word. There are too many. You can learn a small number of words necessary to express your meaning. We do not expect you to know all the variations of English. You know enough already to say 80% of what you mean! Keep trying, and learn the proper usage of
the, a, an, and other things slowly, as you progress. You improve every day.
[so English has thousands of words to express more exact meanings.]
Yes, right. so English is too hard to me.

[and learn the proper usage of the, a, an, and other things slowly,]
I'm afraid but I don't know well yet about its proper usage.
the and a , Its proper usage is too confused me.

Yes, right. Korean lang is very simple. for example, go ---> 가다 only this one.

Re: Night of Seoul-2

Joe forgot to add all the slang words we have that have one or more meanings

Like gay= to be happy
gay= homosexual
back in the 60's/70's the word bad had several meanings depending on the context in which you used it. Do not worry many of us are confused by English. I know there is slang in Korean also but not as much as English.
