Childs bitrthday party question?
O.K. I've been to several childrens birthday party here latley, both Korean and American. I've noticed at every B-day party ALL children leave with a gift bag of some sorts?
Is this the normal thing now? I'm just wondering becasue my son's B-day is coming up and I don't want to be the dad who did not follow "what is suposed to be".

Re: Childs bitrthday party question?
Don't know. But I'll tell you that the bowling alley at Yongsan has party rooms and serves Pizza and has a big business going on Saturdays with birthday parties. If anyone is interestesd, you 'll want to call ahead early.

Re: Childs bitrthday party question?
Yep gift bags are kinda like an unspoken rule. Mostly it's just filled with candy maybe some little generic toys, but kids really love them.
Osan has birthday parties at the bowling alley too. If you stop by they have a pamphlet about the costs and packages and what not. I have taken my kids to a couple there and it seems like most kids that I have heard about and some we didn't go to have their parties there. I'm hoping to find something different to do for my girlies b-day, so we'll see. |

Anyway, I was just wondering becasue as I said my son is having his B-day this month and I just did not want to be one of those parents who was not "with the times". Yes, i'm having it at the bowling alley here at the Hump. Bowling, hotdogs or chicken strips and fries...and the little bag of gifts for the children
