House boy
My son told me they no longer have houseboys on any of the bases anymore. Anyone know why they stopped? I remember the 1SG use to collect everymonth for the houseboy fund. You had to pay extra for him to do things like bootss, TA50, Laundry but it ment you did not have to clean the bathroom or the common areas. Just curious!

That was the best thin going while i was at Osan in 1988...did not have to do anything...clean clothes clean room, boots shined...clothes and uniforms starched.
The next time i returned to the kun all they did was whine and cry about having to pay...And then everyones uniforms looked like they slept in them and it was ok....Whiners.......Ha! Last edited by willy : 09-21-2007 at 12:01 AM. |

That is really a shame because I really missed it when I got back to the States. Always hated Spit Shining boots but then again they don't do that anymore either
