Get off the subway at Dongdaemun Stadium stop for clothing & sports bargains! Directly in the street in front of the old stadium (which is now a super indoor flea market), you will see nice gloves, scarves and all accessories. Most are 2 to 6 thousand won. Piles of coats, winter pants, ski pants, etc go for 7 to 10 thousand. Yesterday I got a parka with hood for 8thousand. AF Blue. I am size XX so sometimes not a great selection, but they can be had. Inside the flea market you can get a good selection, but prices go up as high as 35 thousand or more. We found a place inside in the center with a pile for 4 thousand up to 10 thousand. I got two sweaters for 4 thousand each. Nice Chinese tennis shoes fo 20 thousand. No XXL. Enough tools and goodies for 2 hours wandering inside. Some videos are xxx!

On the way, we stopped inside the subway at Cheongyu, where we changed from line 6 to line 5, and down stairs you can't miss the clothing sale there now. Hurry for ladies and men's sweaters and leather jackets. Note- some of these were used, some were not! So figure it as a thrift shop sale- any way , here is the clincher- three items for 10 thousand or 4 thousand each!
There were some pretty good leather jackets for 10 thousand. A few XL, but
if you are a plus size, don't go for yourself.
It is cold outside, dress well.
Going home get some tangerines or bananas for 1000 won. A big hot steamed bun with sweet red beans is big enough for two for 1000 won! Happy New Year.
