Plastic surgery
I'd like bring up new topics to openly discuss about Palstic surgery today. I need your attention on this thread to express your own opinions on the issue. I'm hoping that we could share different views and experiences from this thread.
I'd like to open up this thread by writing my own experience and my thoughts on plastic surgery. I think Plastic surgery is very beneficial as long as It could help person's self image and self-confidence level. After getting done my surgey I was very happy with it but I realized that I wasn't able to deal with little devil in my mind. It should be more big problem If person can't deal with his mind game. Here's my story, I've been competing as a bodybuilder since high-schooler (national, international level). I do have 2 national titles under my belt and placed within 5th at the various international BB show. I have been suffering from my poor genetics which I had to work twice hard to get to the top level. The problem was my physique wasn't ripped enough or shredded enough for competing against the top dogs. I couldn't imagine I had to almost kill myself with crazy 6month -8month insane diet for the International show. I'm still obsessed with how I look. So It was stuck in my mind from high school like pain in the butt. It allows me to work harder than others .but the flip side of coin was that It was killing me mentally to the death. So I have decided to go and see a PS for little help with modern technology. I was happy as a school girls lying on the butcher bed. The surgery was perfromed for 3 hours non-stop by poking, cutting tissues by general anasthethic. He was the best surgeon in Abgoojeong area. PS cuts out my galdular tissue and sucking fat cells from my upper torso. I was deadly sick for a 5 days due to complications . The maine one was that my blood stuck in my stomach and sitting their for 2-3 days. It blew up like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't sleep at all night. I had to drain them all. Well, I was very happy about the result regardless of complications. I thought that It's something that I have to pay for. Externally, I was very happy with my new upper torso. But at the end, It seems to me I wasn't taking care of my problems deep enough. In other words, I didn't take care of little devil in my mind. Becasue Person standing in the mirror looked same as 12 years ago. It was just banigng my head real hard. I still can see the small ,weak fat kids standing in front of the mirror. ![]()

Youngbuck, If that is really you in the picture, then you have really come a long way from a "Small ,weak, fat kid standing in front of a mirror"!
Congratulations on your bodybuilding achievements! We have had a few who were interested in Martial Arts around the forum, but I haven't heard from them lately. Most, I suspect, join up with others at the local gym, and don't have much time to play on a forum anymore. Am I wrong? I have no experience with plastic surgery, but I have seen some truly beautiful results, as well as horrible. (I enjoyed the beautiful most, and still do on television every day!) I hope yours turns out to please you, and I know there is always some pain involved in reaching a high goal. Best of luck! |

Surgery and steroids are prevalent in Bodybuilding. One is legal the other is not. Many guys get calf implants or implants to help their Pecs standout. As for becoming ripped much of that involves diet and some precontest lack of water. I think much of what is judged at the pro contests forces the reliance on steroids, diuretics and other things that endanger the health. I think especially the men should try to go towards the fitness side as opposed to the huge freaky guys we currently and in the past have graced the muscle Mags.

Re: Plastic surgery
Trying to get back to a norm and as my youngest is still at Camp Carroll I still have that vested interest
I think Plastic surgery has its place but Body Building should be about natural muscular symmetry. If the calf's do not and cannot be brought to match the chest or arms then go for the cuts not the bulk and go for the balance in your physique! ![]()

I agree with you. It's all about symmetary and balance. But last year, one of the judge asked me to cut the glands out (all guys have them, milk duck or mamary tissue or fibulous tissue in his chest) with some lipo to tighen up my chest. It costs me USD 2500. This is good price to comapere with what other people did. I had to do my surgery.Becasue, It was really bugging me big time. I feel great after the surgery and happy as little kid.. jumping like some idiot after hitting a jackpot in vegas. . WTH My wife giggling like a little school girl and kept picking on me about my new underwear.![]() I've got questions and hopefully someone could answer my questions. Off the record, How many guys actually take supplements in special forces(forcerecon, army delta, navy seal) under the doctors supervision? Are they running some sort of blood tests for this? What's the regulations?

Re: Plastic surgery
My youngest son, lifts and supplaments daily. I believe they test for illegal drugs the kind that get you high. I would stay away from buying "special supplaments" from the Korean store. There is nothing wrong with supplamenting when you lift as you need the extra aminos ect due to the large amout of additional exercise you do and to help you grow. Chucksee is much more familiar with the testing program than I am as I have been retired for a few years. I think bodybuilding/weight lifting is a great sport as long as it is done safely.
