But, How did you get this bike less than half of $2300? I'm currently riding a stationary bicycle at home, My MTB is locked up at my wife's garage.

It is a 2007 model, and it was on clearance. Performance is a nationwide dealer with several stores, so they quite often have LARGE sales.
If you would like to check them out, you can find them at http://www.performancebike.com |

Re: My first serious road bike in 17 years is on layaway... woot woot!!!
Congrats! The bike looks awesome and you had a great deal.
I rode an old red Fuji - racing bike (I even forgot the model name) for 5 years in LA and the Netherlands before I switch to MTB (Trek 4300) here in Belgium. I used my Star card first time to buy it and received 10% discount from PXtra and another 10% from Star card additionally (It was my lucky day!). MTB is not as sleek as the road bike I used to ride but it gives me versatility which I need (in Korea) in the near future. Be safe on the road and ENJOY! |

Very nice. I have recently caught the fixed gear/track bike bug. I've been eyeing a 2007 Fuji Track Pro, which is being offered at a 40% discount. I'm waiting to see what the new Bianchi Pista Concept looks like, so hopefully it comes out soon.
Here's a great site I frequent to drool over bikes: http://velospace.org/node Take care! |
