What is your favorite part of Christmas?
For me, I love the days leading up to Christmas. Generally, the entire month of December feels good! For instance, it started to snow in Korea last week. If it were January or November, I would not have enjoyed it. But because it was December, it brings back memories of past Christmases and Decembers. There are always great new Christmas movies and everyone around you seems more cheery. So, my favorite part of Christmas is enjoying the December days leading up to it.

The best part of Christmas is getting gifts from the single women at work who wish you weren't married. NO, I'm just playing!
Well, the best part of Christmas to me is the unexpected. I guess it's the magic of Christmas I'm talking about. It just seems every year there is a miracle(s) in some form...like friends or family announcing engagements or pregnancies, a child's first words, running into old friends in person (here in Korea), receiving unexpected gifts from people (like I mentioned in the beginning~hehe), finding that toy for your kid that was sold out,...stuff like that. |
