Wink weather

The main thing happening in Seoul is the rain. We are getting much more than last year. Yongsan has a few places where the parking areas flood. We have not quite enough parking anyway, and to lose some areas to flooding makes it more of a problem. Fortunately, our hard working dedicated Military Police have always been lenient and helpful when it comes to parking infractions. Unless you blatantly disobey a rule that could endanger life or property, you won't have to worry about parking violations. (Still, don't try parking in a big shot's reserved slot!)

I wish the big rubber boots we used to get right outside the gate were still available. (Somebody could make a few bucks! wish that kid who sells DVD's out by gate 20 could see this idea.)
The joggers sure have a lot of wet sneakers these days! I accidentally found a pair that fit me on the 50% off table at the PX last week! Normally normal sizes(9-12) never show up there. I am a bargain hunter. I have a narrow AAA foot, and can wear ladies sneakers if the size is 11 or 12. I wear a U.S. made 11. If they are Chinese manufactured, a 12. I'm running out of things to write about Yongsan. The "Burger Burn" every Wednesday in front of Navy HQ. at lunch probably got rained out yesterday. On Thursdays it is ribs at Reggies outside. I'm sure they went inside today. It hasn't stopped since about about 8AM.
I'm going to start a "North of the Han River" thread starting today. Look for it. Or, take a nap. Stay Dry!
