Another Dirt Bag Comes to Korea

Head line in Stars and Stripes should read. US Government pays transportation cost to send sex offender to Korea.

Registered offender. A parent, instead of a military authority, who ended up notifying the on-base school system that he/she was living in military family housing in Seoul.

He/She is a registered offender who pleaded guilty in 2003 to felony indecent solicitation of a child, according to the Justice Department’s national registry.

Remember not all registered sex offenders are Felons and they have different levels of it. There are cases here in the states where people have painted someone with the broad brush that you just did and were found in court to have violated the persons rights. So be cautious in that area. I will also say that the base MPs should know of the person being there if that person is a registered sex offender.

What does he do? Is he simply visiting family? He is too old to be a dependant. Does he work for MWR or AFFES?

Re: Another Dirt Bag Comes to Korea

The lowest scum on earth are individuals who prey on and hurt children.

This individual is the husband of an Army Major who lives on base.
A good christian may forgive an individual of their wrongdoing, but the individual still has to be held accountable. It is obvious from the statements from the scumbag's spouse that scumbag knew the age of the girl he was going to meet.

Excert from the Stars and Stripes:

. . . . "In my husband’s case, his actions involved a fair degree of ignorance of the law as well as a good amount of poor judgment. Being overly confident in his understanding of the online-chat life, he was used (sic) to a lot of game playing and trash talking. Of the people he chatted with that day (in 2003), one of them identified herself as a 15-year-old girl.
“When this person began talking suggestively, he made the mistake of thinking that it could be treated like a game and be legally safe so long as he didn’t commit to any solicitation . . .

A similiar situation occurred two years ago when the little fat director of the CRC museum went to the US to meet and hopefully have sex with an underage girl. Guess what - he underage girl turned out to be a 6'2" 240 lbs police officer. He is probably someones "girl" in prison right now.
