Re: at Yong-san electron market.
Hey-you missed me!
I am typing from Sacrament Ca. Flew from Osan Sunday to Atsugi Naval Base,Japan; Train to Higashi -Fussa (Yokota AFB,) then out this morning by C-5 to Travis AFB, CA. Will visit my Daughter in Las Vegas soon. Hopefully will get to Miramar (San Diego CA) this afternoon. I may stay a week or more. Taichan will get you! She gets good prices from the mail. And quality power supplies. When I get back, we should all meet and tour the electronics market together! |

Re: at Yong-san electron market.
SShong,
I can buy cheaper things here or through the internet than at the electronics market. When I was there, the price didn't seem all that low. Give me a 400Gb SATA for $100 and I'll take it. |

Re: at Yong-san electron market.
Can you build that for 800,000 wons with a legit copy of Windows? Depending on what components I want to get, I usually go to several websites. I usually buy my hard drives from outpost.com and tigerdirect.com; RAM and DVD-Writer from Newegg.com or staples/compusa/officemax/officedepot (whenever they have a good deal). Most other components, I can get them from geeks.com, monarchcomputer.com, etc... I can get what you are asking for from Dell for around $800. I don't think I can get a slim case and an ASUS board with that unless Dell is using the Asus board. As for monitor, I can get a 19" LCD for around 110 dollars after rebate. In fact, I bought one not too long ago and planned to bring it back with me to complement my 17".
