Does anyone know if Yongsan has a tax office that is preparing state and federal taxes? Humphreys is only doing federal. Can someone give me the phone number to tax office on Yongsan.

Re: Yongson tax office

AKO is offering Turbo Tax for free, I thought they done it all?

Cannot help you with the state tax? Every other military tax center has done state taxes? Not sure why they don't here?

Cool Re: Yongson tax office

Someone had to give you wrong information- that can't be right, only helping with part of your taxes?? Not possible!

Page three of The Morning Calm paper lists Peninsula-wide Tax Centers, and their phone numbers. Yongsan is 725-1040.

ADDED:PAGE 25 SPEAKS OF AREA 4 AND SAYS "TAX CENTERS ARE OPEN FOR STATE AND FEDERAL TAXES"!!!

Re: Yongson tax office

That's what I thought too, but the guy did our taxes today and he said that they didn't have the state software. I tried to use the turbo tax software but I can't make it not include my income for Arizona taxes. My husband is from AZ but I've never worked or lived there. The program wants to add our two incomes together.

Re: Yongson tax office

Thanks for the help. We were going to be at Yongsan anyway so we got the state taxes finished there. They thought it was odd too that Humphreys wasn't doing state taxes. Later someone told me that Humphreys was having trouble getting their state software to work and they should be doing them within the week. But, I was talking to one of the volunteers and she told me that they haven't had any training at all on how to complete state taxes.
