So I got hungry on SUnday afternoon and stumbled onto this establishment called "The Place" near Gwanghawmun Subway Station (Sejong Performing Arts Center) and stopped in for a bite.

This place serves sandwiches, pasta and has an interesting and tasty salad bar. My friend and I both tried their sandwiches and both were migty good! I had the Italian Combo Panini and she had the CHicken Teriyaki Panini, but she did say that the Teryaki was a tiny bit strong for her taste.

Total cost of oiur lunch was 25,000 won and that included a few items from the salad bar and a soda for me.

The drink options range from a can of coke up to wine at well over $100 per bottle. The staff is incredibly friendly, speak decent English, and the general ambience of the place is VERY cool. It is a place that just makes you feel very welcome, and it is fancy enough to use for a nice date and at the same time you could show up in shorts and flip-flops and be just as comfortable!
