Talking ITAEWON Hi-End Bakery wi Valet Parking!

This maybe should go in the "Funny Korea" Forum, but it is a serious part of Itaewon, so it is here.
This is a beautiful Black Glass Building out on the far eastern end of Itaewon Street. It is only about a month old. So far there seems to be few tenants in the upper floors. This end of the street is mostly geared for Japanese Tourists, as most bar signs are written in Japanese and there are dancing and karaoke style places that cater to big spenders. (I checked out only the first floor of the big black building. Really.)
THis place is upper class! Similar but larger than the bakery in the HYATT Hotel up on the hill a few blocks away. Walking in on the first floor, entering from the right, you see glass cases of all sorts of candies and expensive chocolates! Clerks are in suits and white uniforms, and greet you in unison in Korean, (as some older generation may remember that when Mc Donald's first opened! ) The girls and boys who are behind the counters in the bakery and sandwich making areas are in white uniforms with aprons, and if baking or touching food, have on white masks and plastic gloves. After the candy store is the bakery, where I bought a small powdered bundt cake for 3000 won. ( About the size of a small planters nuts can.) A nice young lady came out to assist me, and she spoke good English. She neatly wrapped my purchase, and even asked if I wanted a plastic bag, which of course, she explained, cost 50 won more. (Being a seasoned shopper, I had a plastic bag in my jacket.)
There were minature rolls of all sorts, tiny pizza triangles, small donuts and little loaves of bread for 5000 won. Tiny sausages baked in a bun like a hot dog for about 3000 won. As in all Korean bakeries it all looked good! Next came the Sandwiches, in a tiny fresh bun. About the size of a small fist, they were cute, but after 5000 won and maybe three bites they would be history. It was 5 PM, I was the only customer except for three or four young ladies on around past the High Class Coffee Sales and Brewing Area. There was an area where tables and chairs were available. A pleasant experience, but if I go back again, it will only be to get another tiny bundt cake. Turns out it was delicious! All Korean cakes are not. It was so much like my mom's orange cake- even down to the tiny pieces of rind in it!
If you look closely in the accompanying photo, you can see the sign that says, in English, VALET PARKING!

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

As far as I knew there was only one over below the river.
HOLD THE PRESS!
This just in from Seoul Magazine for Dec. "...a comparatively recent addition to the Seoul Clubbing Scene is Club Circle, in the trendy, pricey Apgujeong area, south of the Hangang River. A former Hard Rock Cafe it's since been totally remodeled and reopened with much fanfare as an upscale exclusive danced club. Entry costs 20,000 won, and some people have been known to be turned away on the basis of dress or appearance."
I don't know if there is another. (Their sales desk in the Dragon disappeared , so ???)

There is going to be a Hard Rock in Iteawon. There was this underground club near the subway...it's going to be there. They have been working on it for months now. Don't know when it opens.

Check here for updates.
