Sounds like she is going to be taken care of, and separated from her dad, which is the best thing that can happen. You mentioned that she was hanging around with some questionable people, perhaps behaving in a manner not good for a teen student. So her leaving here seems good, also. I think you did well to keep out of the action as best you could. Hopefully all will learn something from this. And, hopefully, she will write you when she gets settled, and maybe all is not lost in your relationship. Best of luck!

Congratulations Universe, You Win!
this is getting worse everyday. the head social worker (of all the social workers i guess) sais she cant go outside for her own safety, yet questions her on her honesty because her dad said her mom abandoned her and sais her mom isnt safe either. THIS IS NOT TRUE. its kind of hard to not abandon your daughter when you are threatened to by your exhusband. she didnt anyway, she was threatened by him not to even try to take custody of her and so she felt she couldnt. its not the same. her dad beat her mom, her older sister, AND NOW HER. she called me crying not 10 minutes ago about this and i told her to contact her patient advocate/representative immediately. this head honcho b!tch thinks hes some kind of investegator i guess. her dad is lying just as he has before and no one believes my gf. yeah sure sometimes i question the placement of my trust but not before i refer to the sh!t that her jacked up dad has gotten away with. if this doesnt go through the way it should i hope she goes crazy before she realizes how much shes getting F**KED over.
they told her she cant even have any more VISITORS! i doubt that includes 'everyones favorite dad'. Last edited by blahblahblah : 04-15-2008 at 08:50 AM. |

Re: Child Abuse: Did Someone Raise the Bar When Justice Wasn't Looking?
I am happy that things worked out for you. I am also happy that you did everything you could for her and didn't get yourself to involved to get yourself hurt. She is lucky to have someone like you there to look out for her.
Let me know when you turn 21, I'll buy you a drink. |
