Moving to Yongsan

Just wanted to update and let you all know I'm moving to Hannam Village around 1 Sept.

DH and I decided it would be better for me and also for our 3 year old daughter. Get her in a part time CDC so she can have more interaction with children and also so that I can have more Americans around me, possible shot at a job.

Still want to help those coming to Area I though, I've learned a lot in the past 4 months I've been here. Being our first PCS together, and my first OCONUS transition, Things weren't quite as easy as planned! I did find a great group of girls up this way which I do not like that I have to leave them and go further south, but I also think its better for our family at this time.

Cool Re: Moving to Yongsan

Thanks for the update! It is great that you will still speak for the folks around CRC! Hopefully we'll all be better off. Hannam Village is a good place for children! You will be fine after the shock of moving again!

Re: Moving to Yongsan

Thanks Joe, we're very excited. I can still even come up to Cp Stanley and see my husband during the week if we wanted to, if traffic isn't bad, the drive doesn't take very long.

lol @ the shock of moving again. That is exactly right.

I couldn't work in a daycare.. not a job snob, just don't think I could handle it. I commend those that do.

Thanks though!

WOW, 7 weeks? GEEZ. I'm very sorry it went like that for you. Even with me moving up here to Area I, it just took a few weeks, I'm assuming you were on a waiting list?

Thank you for the well wishes.

Re: Moving to Yongsan

Remember that the Army should move you! There should be no problem with moving. Remember it is a move that helps the Army....

And congrats on moving.....That was the biggest reason we moved also, for the child interaction. It's sad when they play together and then the Korean children run off tryiing to say goodbye but can't.....

It will be much better for you and your child, You'll have central air and not have to worry about if you leaving it on to much or to long....

Chuck

hahahaha, you read my mind.

I am pretty sure we have to pay out of pocket, since we had previously elected to live off post on the economy. It shouldn't be too bad since we don't have much here to begin with.

At the playground here, Cheyanne tries to say hello and play with the kiddos, they are good with her, but can't really understand her outside of hello and sometimes goodbye.
