Krispy Kreme is here (at Yongsan)!
We at Yongsan always seem to get things a little later than Osan.
I think I gained a pound today by chomping down four of these glazed doughnuts. I missed these doughnuts! Honestly, I don't see what the big deal of these doughnuts are...never did. They are good; I'll admit that. But are they worth twice the price of a regular doughnut? Heck NO!! Maybe an extra 5-10 cents, but these are nearly double. |

Yes, we go Krispy Kreme in October I think. They are WAY over priced. 99 cents for a doughnut?

DHL Donuts
The ones at DHL are better than all of them.

That's how DHL makes the most money and keep on producing great bakery stuff for low prices. By the way, welcome to the forum, Hiker! We're looking forward to your inputs! ![]() |

Krispy Kreme
Thanks for the welcome. Those in Korea are not missing anything. It is one of those issues where something new will continue to receive attention until the newness wears off. I would rather spend the money on DHL donuts. The proceeds also are used to take care of the MWR facilities. The soldiers assigned there also can reserve a room at the DHL for a getaway weekend at an excellent price. OTH AAFES is another issue I would not care to expound on. They are really shameless Oh I keep forgetting they sponsor free movies :-)

As I approach my third year (total) at Yongsan, I'm reminded of the three years, one month and eight days I spent at Osan once upon a life. And I ponder if I really want to hang around for another two or three (or more) years and follow the crowd to Camp Humphreys? Still pondering. I need to go down and look around. If I was smart, I would buy a parking building right by the front gate! And maybe a donut shop?
