Question Ok, what is with the giant dragon outside of Gate 1 near Samgakchi???

I have been watching them build that thing for 3 days, and now it seems to be completed. I think it is cool no matter what, but what is the signifigance of it?

Saw that being built yesterday! Wait for the accompanying sign, or ask the girls at the USO desk, they know everything. There are not many of us on the forum actually in Seoul, and you and I may be the only forum members who frequent the 삼 각 지 area.

P.S Just ADDED12:40 PM I drove over by the big Straw Dragon- Signs in Korean only- it says "Yong San _ 124th Year! So I suspect it is our Yongsan-Ku Anniversary! We will look for other festivities and print any here.
I was born in the year of the Dragon!

Cool Re: Year of the Dragon-

It is very auspicious (favorable) to be born in those years! Ask any Oriental person. Almost as good as being a Libra!

(Dr.Worm, on the other hand, is apparently a Snake. Kind of like a large worm!) see http://www.usbridalguide.com/special...opes/Snake.htm

Woo Hoo Hoo!
