Cycling on Yongsan Garrison
There have been several threads on this website about cycling in Seoul. I understand there are bike paths along the Han, that are a bit crowded, but provide good road biking opportunities in central Seoul.
However, my question is related to cycling on Yongsan Garrison proper. Its hard to motivate oneself to cycle off base every day, and it would be wonderful if the base itself was OK for road cycling. How is the traffic on base? Are there any changes in elevation that would afford the opportunity for a bit fo a workout? How si the lighting on base? Could I ride with led lights/blinkers (for visability) and without a full on night light system? Thank you in advance. |

Following all the rules might put you off, lights, vest, helmet, etc. but you certainly have hills and valleys, etc. Sometimes traffic can be a pain on post.I think down by the river would be the thing to do. You can ride for 20 miles if you wish, but not mountainous.
