Thumbs down Hard Rock Cafe???

Wow, I just got to say wow.

I went to the Hard Rock in Iteawon and it sucked. It was a trendy bar. Nothing of what Hard Rock is suppose to be. It is suppose to have this natural Rock n Roll feel. It started in 1971 in England to be a cool music Bar and Grill.

Well, I saw all bar and no grill in Iteawon. and the drinks were 9,000 - 10,000 won...FOR ONE DRINK!!!

I just have to say, "What the flying fig newton is that about?"

Needless to say I will not be going there. I think Woodstock in Iteawon feels more like what Hard Rock Cafe is suppose to.

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

They've got three in Tokyo, and all three are great. When I was in Korea, I heard the manager took off with a bunch of money from the Hard Rock there. Thats when they shutdown I guess.

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

I passed that the other day when I was in Itaewon. My husband and I just looked at each other and said.. Too expensive.

It's expensive in the states, I could only imagine the prices here..

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

If any of you go on vacation to Pattaya, Thailand, go to the Hard Rock cafe there. That is the best one I've ever been to. I got there right after the grand opening.

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

My wife and son went to the Hard Rock Cafe last week. Yes, expensive, but they say the food was good and best of all, I got a T-shirt.

Re: Hard Rock Cafe???

We went before we left, and the food was good. I know what you mean about the atmosphere. The whole room is beige, but there are several private rooms, and there was some couch like places to sit and eat. I liked the bathroom each "tall" was it's own little room with the sink in there! They had a guitar signed by Stevie Nicks so I was a happy camper. I have pictures, but they might still be in Korea. I'll try to post some :)
